Terms and Conditions

The services provided by J.A.D.E. – JAI’S ACADEMY FOR DENTAL EDUCATION INC. are subject to these general terms and conditions. J.A.D.E. – JAI’S ACADEMY FOR DENTAL EDUCATION INC. reserves the right to modify or update these terms at any time without any prior notice to you. Any such modification, additions or deletions shall be effective immediately without notice thereof.

1. Course Fees

  • The student shall pay the course fee to J.A.D.E. – Jai’s Academy for Dental Education Inc. (Course provider) upon signing up for the course. The course fees are non-refundable, nontransferable to another student. Course provider can update the course fees as and when necessary.
  • Student signing up for the course is financially committed to pay the entire amount of the course, which is nonrefundable. For payment plan, student must sign the agreement for prepayment plan while signing up for the payment plan.
  • If the course is cancelled by J.A.D.E. – Jai’s Academy for Dental Education Inc., then the student will be offered the replacement course or prorated refund.
  • For clinical courses – access to the Laboratory for practice sessions, as designated by the course, and/or course instructor for the duration of the registered course(s).

2. Course Related Policies

  • Starting 1st Jan 2024, there will be a significant improvement in the course’s duration. It is student’s responsibility to review the same and acknowledge the same.
  • AFK, ACJ and SJT Courses – Starting 1st Jan 2024 (including AFK Aug 2024 cycle, ACJ May 2024 cycle and Situational (SJT) Feb 2024 cycle, the students will be enrolling in the courses with a 2-year access in the same fees instead of 1 cycle/course. Students can take multiple cycles of the course within 2 years or a successful attempt in the exam conducted by the board. The time period of 2 years for the course will begin from the first pre-recorded or live session whichever is earlier as per the schedule. This is being done to support the students in case they are not able to get the seat for the exam or are not able to clear the exam. It will allow them to take their own time to prepare and re-appear.
  • ADAT and INBDE Courses – Starting 1st Jan 2024, students will get the access for 1 full year for ADAT and INBDE Courses. The time-period of 1 year will begin from the 1st scheduled live or pre-recorded session in that cycle.
  • Students won’t be able to pause the course during this above specified time for the courses. They will have the continued access to resources, classes once they start the course. Once they clear the exam or specified time is over whichever is earlier, they have to re-register to get the access to the course which will be considered as a new registration.
  • Course access for AFK Test Series is 1 year unlike the AFK Full course which is 2 years starting Jan 1st 2024.
  • Virtual OSCE will have access of 1 year.
  • J.A.D.E. – Jai’s Academy for Dental Education Inc. can always review these durations and modify as and when needed. Students agree that they will follow the policies and procedures as and when they are updated, modified or cancelled.

3. NDECC Course Policies

  • NDECC course students understand that since the exam happens multiple times throughout the year, so it is not possible to have the seat available all the time and it is student’s responsibility to make sure to register for the course in timely manner.
  • NDECC Clinical course seats are limited, and deposits or fees cannot be refunded in any circumstances as the institution is blocking that seat when student registers for it. The weeks or duration booked by the student can not be postponed or cancelled.
  • If student is planning for the extension of the course, then they should register 4-6 weeks prior to their course end date or express their interest via email to the team.
  • J.A.D.E. – Jai’s Academy for Dental Education Inc. is not responsible in any manner if the student cannot get the seat extension as there are limited seats available in the centre.
  • Students agree that they cannot pause the course in between or transfer the course to next cycle as every day of NDECC course is important.
  • Students registering for NDECC agrees that they understand that the individual requests for work check, demos, access to the lab, access to the learning lab and mock exam dates might not be honoured.
  • J.A.D.E. – Jai’s Academy for Dental Education Inc. is committed to provide full day access and can conduct demo at any time of the working hours in the centre based on the availability of the instructors and technical support or team. Under no circumstances, J.A.D.E. – Jai’s Academy for Dental Education Inc. is responsible for any refund or accommodation of the demo at a later date if the course for the student is over.
  • If any of the demo is missed, then it would be scheduled on a later date which might not fall in the course timeline of students taking the short courses. Courses that run for 12 weeks will cover all the demos whether live or pre recorded.
  • Seat allocation has to be respected by the students which can be changed every week or biweekly depending on the circumstances analyzed by the management.
  • Mock Exams (if included in the course fees or purchases separately) will be offered closer to the exam based on the preset schedule. Students who are not enrolled in the full course during that time will not get the mocks unless they have purchased only mocks at a separate cost.
  • For Situational Judgement Course – access will be provided for 2 years from the start date of the first course. As the exam is conducted multiple times throughout the year, so it is student’s responsibility to inform the management or team via email regarding their exam date once they book the exam to properly schedule their mock exams. J.A.D.E. – Jai’s Academy for Dental Education Inc. is currently conducting over 20 mocks every year and students should try to get at least 3-4 before their exam. This is possible only if students inform the team in timely manner and make a note of the mock schedule which is available on the website.
  • In Situational judgment course, J.A.D.E. – Jai’s Academy for Dental Education Inc. is going to conduct mini mocks to enhance the practice of the students. Students have to volunteer for the same and spots will be provided on first come first basis with priority to students who are able to secure the spot. If students are not able to cover all the mini mocks as they may get exam date which does not allow covering all mini mocks then J.A.D.E. – Jai’s Academy for Dental Education Inc. is not responsible for any partial or full refund or compensation to the students. It is best if the students start preparing for the mini mocks even prior to registering for the exam to give themselves enough time to cover all of them.
  • In case students want to shift the mini mock batches, they have to contact the admin team via email and their request would be considered provided the operations allow the same. J.A.D.E. – Jai’s Academy for Dental Education Inc. will try their best to accommodate the request if at all possible. Requesting batch changes after missing the mini mocks won’t be considered.

4. Copyrights

  • All course materials, online or offline sessions whether live or pre-recorded are solely for the personal use of registered student. It is strictly prohibited to transmit, reproduce, sell or distribute any course materials in any forms or by any means, including but not limited to screenshots, photocopying, recording or other electronic or mechanical methods.
  • Course content provided during the course schedule or even after is for the personal use for the registered student which includes all the course material including printed booklets, quizzes, tests, mocks or even charts, tables etc.
  • Student must not use it for any other purposes including reselling or reproduce it.
  • Student should not transfer the material to any other person without the written consent from the J.A.D.E. – Jai’s Academy for Dental Education Inc. management.

5. Description of Services

  • In exchange for the payment of the Course Fee, the Student will be enrolled in the Course and will gain access to all offered sessions of the Course, as more particularly set out in the Course outline.
  • The student acknowledges that timing within the sessions will be managed by the instructor and allocated to groups and/or individuals as the instructor sees fit.
  • The student understands that this Course all the answers to the questions, the materials, and the presentations provided by instructors are based on latest textbooks and references; however, it is the student’s own responsibility to ensure that these materials and answers are up-to-date and meet the student’s particular needs.
  • The student acknowledges that exam results cannot be guaranteed by J.A.D.E. – JAI’S ACADEMY FOR DENTAL EDUCATION INC.
  • The student further acknowledges that this program is just to help the student improve their knowledge and skills but does not guarantee admission to a dental school.

6. Communication

  • All the course related communication will be via email, and it is student’s responsibility to check the email consistently including the spam folders. By enrolling in J.A.D.E. – JAI’S ACADEMY FOR DENTAL EDUCATION INC. services, you subscribe and agree to receive email communication, announcements and/or updates pertaining to the course, other relevant courses or service offerings that may be of interest, and/or the exam process communications. Email communication and updates may be sent prior, during, and after the completion of the course.
  • If you wish to not receive any non course related email, you can communicate the same to the office and they will remove you from the list.

By way of example, and not as a limitation, you agree that when using the Communication Services, you will not:

  • Defame, abuse, harass, stalk, threaten or otherwise violate the legal rights (such as rights of privacy and publicity) of others;
  • Publish, post, upload, distribute, disseminate or otherwise make available any content this is: false, inaccurate, inappropriate, profane, defamatory, libelous, harmful, vulgar, obscene, indecent, abusive or harassing on our forum;
  • Use the Services in a malicious, misleading or discriminatory manner;
  • Violate and applicable laws, regulations or third-party rights.

J.A.D.E. – JAI’S ACADEMY FOR DENTAL EDUCATION INC. within its sole discretion, always reserves the right to disclose any information it deems necessary and appropriate to satisfy any applicable law, regulation, legal process or governmental request. It further reserves the right to edit, refuse to post and to remove any information/materials, in whole or in part.

7. Registration and service level agreement

  • Course applicants may be subject to a review process and further interviews by the J.A.D.E. - JAI’s ACADEMY FOR DENTAL EDUCATION INC. team to determine their eligibility. The review and approval process will be conducted within 3 weeks from the registration date.
  • If the applicant does not receive any further communications from J.A.D.E. - JAI’s ACADEMY FOR DENTAL EDUCATION INC, within 3 weeks from the date of registration, then they are considered accepted and fully registered in the course.
  • While J.A.D.E. - JAI’s ACADEMY FOR DENTAL EDUCATION INC. will use all reasonable means to offer sessions/courses at the promised times and by the scheduled instructors, J.A.D.E. - JAI’s ACADEMY FOR DENTAL EDUCATION INC. also reserves the right to adjust the course timelines, instructors, number of sessions, and to further cancel sessions, or courses at their discretion.
  • In the event a service is overbooked, J.A.D.E. - JAI’s ACADEMY FOR DENTAL EDUCATION INC. will work on offering an alternate service/time or offer the client a full refund. The client agrees that no additional compensation other than refunding the original fees shall be given.
  • Courses which do not reach the minimum number of required attendees may be cancelled by J.A.D.E. - JAI’s ACADEMY FOR DENTAL EDUCATION INC. and the registered applicants will be notified accordingly. Wherever applicable, any reduction in the number of sessions or cancellation of courses, will result in a prorated reimbursement of payments corresponding to the canceled courses/sessions. In the event of such cancellations, registered students are not eligible to receive any additional compensations.
  • Timing within sessions will be managed by the instructor and allocated to groups and/or individuals as the instructor sees fit, to maximally benefit the trainees.

8. Privacy Notice

J.A.D.E. - JAI’s ACADEMY FOR DENTAL EDUCATION INC. utilizes your personal information for the provision of products and services to you as well as for the purposes of managing J.A.D.E. - JAI’s ACADEMY FOR DENTAL EDUCATION INC. business operations. Furthermore, as a course registrant, student acknowledge and consent to J.A.D.E. - JAI’s ACADEMY FOR DENTAL EDUCATION INC. occasionally publishing, reproducing , digitalizing, displaying, and otherwise using ,(a)  student’s name, image , likeness, voice, and (b) all photographs, recordings, videotapes, and audiovisual materials of  students self in an manner, form, or format on the Internet, and for the purpose of advertising or promotion of J.A.D.E. - JAI’s ACADEMY FOR DENTAL EDUCATION INC. services without further consent from or payment to students.

Registrants may refuse or withdraw consent to use and disclosure of their personal information at any time, in written format, subject to contractual and other legal obligations. However, doing so may preclude entitlement to benefits, sessions, or services without compensation or reimbursement in any form.

9. Bodily Injury Release

Students agree that student’s safety is primarily student’s own responsibility. Students agree to make sure that student know how to safely use all the equipment, and student agree to observe any rules and practices that may be employed to minimize the risk of injury. students agree to stop and seek assistance if student do not believe that student can safely continue operating the equipment. Students agree that if student do not know how to operate a function of the equipment, student will stop and ask for assistance. Students agree that student will refrain from any and all actions that would pose a hazard to student’s self or others. student have read, participated in the classroom safety instructions and student understand how to safely use all the equipment that student am using in the laboratory, classroom and at home. student hereby agree to release, waive, and discharge, and covenant not to sue, and agree to hold J.A.D.E. - JAI’s ACADEMY FOR DENTAL EDUCATION INC., its directors, officers, agents, volunteers, employees and representatives (hereafter referred to as the “Releasees”) from and against any and all liabilities, demands, claims or injuries, including death, that student may sustain during or in conjunction with operating equipment while on the premises of J.A.D.E. - JAI’s ACADEMY FOR DENTAL EDUCATION INC. and while using the equipment provided by J.A.D.E. - JAI’s ACADEMY FOR DENTAL EDUCATION INC. at home.

10. Property and equipment damage/malfunction agreement

Section A: Applicable to all preparatory courses

By entering into this Agreement, student understand and accept responsibility for all property and materials that student may damage intentionally, or unintentionally while on the premises of J.A.D.E. - JAI’s ACADEMY FOR DENTAL EDUCATION INC. student understand that it is student’s responsibility to advise J.A.D.E. - JAI’s ACADEMY FOR DENTAL EDUCATION INC.’ staff of any such damage caused, immediately upon becoming aware of it. Furthermore, student understand that student will be responsible for reimbursing J.A.D.E. - JAI’s ACADEMY FOR DENTAL EDUCATION INC. for any such damage, as advised by staff.

Section B: Applicable to those enrolling in the NDECC preparatory course

By entering into this Agreement, student understand how to properly operate and maintain the equipment student am using at home, in the laboratory and in the classroom, as depicted in the course manual and explained by the instructor. students understand that during a course, equipment downtime for repairs/maintenance may occur, and there will be no make-up time or compensation of any sort for missed time, as J.A.D.E. - JAI’s ACADEMY FOR DENTAL EDUCATION INC. takes potential downtime into account when constructing a course/service and will ensure that all course objectives will be met by the end of the course. In the event the lab outage is taking longer than expected, J.A.D.E. - JAI’s ACADEMY FOR DENTAL EDUCATION INC. reserves the right to provide portable equipment or to hold the course in a temporary and/or portable setup instead of the main labs until the main labs reopen, with no liability or compensation required for the duration the portable/temporary setup is used.

Students agree to be responsible for any loss or damage to the equipment and its return in the same condition in which it was received, except for the normal wear and tear. If students are deemed responsible for the loss, or loss of use of the equipment, you will be liable for the repair, or replacement of the equipment. If the equipment is not returned in good condition, J.A.D.E. - JAI’s ACADEMY FOR DENTAL EDUCATION INC. may charge the renter with a fee equal to the cost to restore the Used Equipment to the condition in which it was in at the time the renter initially received it.

11. Missing classes or parts of a course

Missed classes will NOT be compensated for in any way, so please ensure that you closely adhere to the classroom time. If you absolutely cannot attend due to a major circumstance, please ensure that you have an arrangement with a colleague for missed notes, as J.A.D.E. - JAI’s ACADEMY FOR DENTAL EDUCATION INC. does not have the obligation, nor may it have the feasibility, to repeat or replay lectures. It is, however, a good practice to inform the administrative staff of missed lectures regardless, in case there is preplanned make-up or repeat session(s).

12. Proprietary and intellectual property rights

As between J.A.D.E. - JAI’s ACADEMY FOR DENTAL EDUCATION INC. and you, J.A.D.E. - JAI’s ACADEMY FOR DENTAL EDUCATION INC. owns all rights, title and interest in and to the services and program materials. You acknowledge and agree that the services and program materials are provided to you only in accordance with the terms and conditions of this Agreement. Except for the limited rights granted in the Agreement. Except for the limited rights granted in this Agreement, all rights are reserved by J.A.D.E. - JAI’s ACADEMY FOR DENTAL EDUCATION INC.

13. Identifications and supporting documents

J.A.D.E. - JAI’s ACADEMY FOR DENTAL EDUCATION INC. may at any point prior to or during a service/course ask for identifying documents to prove the identity of a client or the authenticity of registrations or Client Relations requests. Such documents include government issued IDs/documents and NDEB profile and number. J.A.D.E. - JAI’s ACADEMY FOR DENTAL EDUCATION INC. will not share these documents with a third party without the consent of the client. Unwillingness or refusal to provide identifying documents is grounds for expulsion with no refund.

14. Denial of future registrations

The violation of any agreement entered with J.A.D.E. - JAI’s ACADEMY FOR DENTAL EDUCATION INC. at any point in time may be grounds for dismissal from J.A.D.E. - JAI’s ACADEMY FOR DENTAL EDUCATION INC. services and grounds for being blacklisted from some or all future J.A.D.E. - JAI’s ACADEMY FOR DENTAL EDUCATION INC. services.

15. Reservation fee policy

  • Reservation fees are collected when J.A.D.E. - JAI’s ACADEMY FOR DENTAL EDUCATION INC. does not intend to collect the full fee/tuition for a service, reducing the financial burden on clients and providing them more time to acquire funds. Reservation fees will be associated with a corresponding full fee/tuition due date.
  • Reservation fees are non-refundable, non-transferable, non-creditable.
  • Clients are required to pay the full fee, or enter into a binding payment plan agreement, on the full fee/tuition due date. Failure to do so will cause the reservation fee to be forfeited (no refund). The reservation amount will be applied to the tuition/service fee on the tuition due date.
  • In the event a withdrawal is requested before the start date of the course/service, the penalty will be the higher amount between the reservation fee amount or the standard withdrawal policy amount (see standard withdrawal policy). This is applicable before and after the full fee due date.

16. Transfers/credits from a different cycle/course

  • Transfers between cycles/courses is not permitted. Only a few extenuating circumstances, such as bereavement, may be considered. Approved cases will be subject to administrative penalties on a case-by-case basis, is limited to one approval per registration, and is subject to price increases and course/service changes.
  • Please be advised that students transferring from a different cycle/course or registering using a credit from a different cycle/course will not be eligible for a refund request. A student/client loses their eligibility for a refund on the date a transfer/credit is approved.

17. Standard withdrawal policy

  • 40% will be deducted (or charged in case of a payment plan) if withdrawn 1-2 weeks (8-14 days) prior to planned start date at time of registration. This is applicable only if we have received the email request and student has not transferred the course prior to this cancellation request. There is no refund policy for courses with limited intake which includes courses like NDECC Clinical course.
  • Refund mentioned in the first point is based on the discretion of the management on a case-by-case basis.
  • No refund will be issued (or 100% will be charged in case of a payment plan) if withdrawn 1 week or less (≤7 days) prior to planned start date.
  • No refund will be issued (or 100% will be charged in case of a payment plan) for small-sized services (≤10 client), on-demand services, scheduled one-on-one sessions, any service in which the fee or service arrangement has been modified/customized, any service or course enrolment offered as an accommodation option for individuals or for the whole class, or for courses already running, regardless of the date a withdrawal is requested.
  • Additional processing, administrative (incl. books and class handouts), or transaction fees may be deducted from the refund amount as necessary.

18. Conflict of Interest

  • J.A.D.E. - JAI’s ACADEMY FOR DENTAL EDUCATION INC. adheres to a strict standard with regards to conflict-of-interest. J.A.D.E. - JAI’s ACADEMY FOR DENTAL EDUCATION INC. reserves the right to deny service on the basis of conflict-of-interest, such as affiliation directly or indirectly with entities deemed to be in conflict with J.A.D.E. - JAI’s ACADEMY FOR DENTAL EDUCATION INC.’s goals and objectives.
  • Upon registration, candidates agree to not be directly or indirectly working with or associated with competing entities in a for-profit or not-for-profit manner. Examples of indirect affiliation include a spouse working for a competing entity. Candidates also agree to not affiliate, directly or indirectly, with activities or entities in competition with J.A.D.E. - JAI’s ACADEMY FOR DENTAL EDUCATION INC. for up to two years after conclusion of services.
  • Violation of conflict-of-interest and non-competition clauses will result in immediate denial or termination of service with no refund.

By signing this form, student agree that all communication/correspondence with Client Relations/ Upper Management is confidential and will not be shared with other clients or any third party. Students understand that disclosure may result in administrative or legal repercussions, including voiding of special accommodations or registrations, or dismissal with no refund.

By registering in the AFK, ACJ, or NDECC training courses, student declare that student am a Canadian dental equivalency candidate registered/registering with the NDEB as an equivalency applicant, and student am registering in these courses for the sole purpose of training in order to pass the NDEB equivalency exams.

CODE OF CONDUCT

*All registrants at J.A.D.E. - JAI’s ACADEMY FOR DENTAL EDUCATION INC. agree to adhere to the code of conduct at all times. Violation of terms of conduct is an offense under the Code, subject to disciplinary actions and can result in immediate termination from the course(s) with no refund (in cases where full payment is not yet collected, registrants in violation will be liable for outstanding fees). The code includes the following:

A. Always follow the directive of staff. Breaking the guidelines and protocols are detrimental to the training environment intended by J.A.D.E. - JAI’s ACADEMY FOR DENTAL EDUCATION INC. and is considered a serious violation. Breaking protocols that are based on government mandates or Health and Safety regulations may result in an immediate expulsion with no refund.

B. Exercise common courtesy and professionalism at all times while on J.A.D.E. - JAI’s ACADEMY FOR DENTAL EDUCATION INC. premises or when dealing with J.A.D.E. - JAI’s ACADEMY FOR DENTAL EDUCATION INC. staff, instructors, and other trainees. Offensive language and abusive behavior against J.A.D.E. - JAI’s ACADEMY FOR DENTAL EDUCATION INC. staff, instructors, or other trainees will NOT be tolerated.

C. Operate/use J.A.D.E. - JAI’s ACADEMY FOR DENTAL EDUCATION INC. property within allocated time, with utmost care, following the standards/instructions provided by J.A.D.E. - JAI’s ACADEMY FOR DENTAL EDUCATION INC. and/or its instructors.

D. Screenshots, video and/or audio recording during sessions by attendees is prohibited at all times.

E. Refrain from disrupting the instructor or classmates. These disruptions include, but are not limited to, continuous loud side-conversations, playing music/audio, and repetitive questions/arguments with the instructor.

F. Soliciting, advertising for other services, sale of materials, spreading of rumors, and false/misleading instructions that can hamper the class environment or mislead trainees, is strictly prohibited.

G. Receiving/rendering instructions/training on J.A.D.E. - JAI’s ACADEMY FOR DENTAL EDUCATION INC. premises from anyone other than J.A.D.E. - JAI’s ACADEMY FOR DENTAL EDUCATION INC. instructors without Management’s prior permission is strictly prohibited.

H. Vandalism or destruction of J.A.D.E. - JAI’s ACADEMY FOR DENTAL EDUCATION INC.® property is prohibited and may result in immediate termination and further liability for reimbursement of any damage.

I. Facilitating entry onto the premises anyone who is not part of the course, or outside of office hours or assigned session times and without permission from Management, is prohibited.

J. To provide feedback and/or any complaints regarding instructors, students, facilities or other areas of the course, while enrolled in the course, students are required to follow the formal feedback process by communicating with Client Relations via email or telephone and/or as specified at the beginning of the course. Public complaining and disturbing the peace will not be tolerated.

K. Disclosure of private and confidential correspondence/information may be grounds for dismissal.

L. Students must immediately report any behavior that does not conform to this Code of Conduct to J.A.D.E. - JAI’s ACADEMY FOR DENTAL EDUCATION INC. management.

M. Situations or behaviors deemed by management to be unprofessional, detrimental, or damaging in any manner to the institution, its staff, or its clients and that are not outlined above may receive a verbal or a written warning or may result in direct dismissal depending on the seriousness of the matter.

Please be sure of your decision to enroll. Once a registration form is filled you are legally-bound and financially committed for the FULL FEES, regardless of attendance or payment status (students on payment plans will still be liable for outstanding fees not yet collected). We have a strict NO REFUND policy outside the terms outlined below. No exceptions will be made. If you are unsure of being fully committed to the course, consult with the details below BEFORE you register.
